Water Quality Meeting - Little Calfpaster River

November 19, 2009

7:00 PM

The Little Calfpasture River downstream of the dam at the Goshen Boy Scout Camp to its confluence with the Calfpasture River is considered to be unhealthy due to its lack of aquatic life.  The VA Departments of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will present information from a study of the sources of pollution in the Little Calfpasture at a meeting in the Rockbridge Baths Volunteer Fire Department building.
After the meeting, comments regarding the study will be accepted through December 18, 2009 (11.59pm).  Contact Tara Sieber, Valley Region TMDL Specialist, VA DEQ with any questions or concerns, or check out the DEQ TMDL website at: www.deq.virginia.gov/TMDL.
