Dr. Neal Baer is an award-winning producer for an award-winning series, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit". Prior to his work on SVU, he was executive producer of ER for seven seasons and a member of the original staff. His latest endeavor is a photo-documentary sharing stories of HIV in Africa from the perspectives of mothers and children.

The title of Dr. Baer's talk is "Medicine and Hollywood: Raising Awareness through Television" and is part of CONTACT's Television and Society speaker series.

Free and open to the public. There will be a reception after the talk in the Alumni House.
